Fred Weatherspoon, Deputy Director - ALETA - Email

Frederick Weatherspoon is the Deputy Director at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and has been employed at ALETA since 1995. He is responsible for the oversight of daily operations at both the Camden and the Northwest campuses to include Training Staff, Maintenance Department, Inmate Program and Information Technology services that ensure that Arkansas Law Enforcement is provided with the most cutting edge training available.  Mr. Weatherspoon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.


Brad King, Deputy Director - OLES - Email

Claude Bradley (Brad) King is the Deputy Director at the Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training. He is responsible for auditing law enforcement agencies for compliance with minimum standards that have been established by CLEST, the approval of basic training courses and in-service training courses for law enforcement agencies, certifying Professional, General and Specialized instructors, Field Training Officers, and assisting law enforcement agencies, personnel and the general public with questions concerning CLEST regulations and specifications. He also instructs classes on minimum standard requirements for basic training classes and instructor training at the request of training academies and law enforcement agencies.
 Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement from Northeast Missouri State University and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.


Kristi Branch, Chief Fiscal Officer - Email

Kristi Branch served as the Calhoun County Treasurer elect 11 years prior to coming to CLEST in 2012 as grant coordinator. In 2013 she transferred to the position of Fiscal Manager for The Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training.

Kristi is responsible for budgets, annual financial statements, external agency reporting, internal management reporting, coordination with Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit for annual financial audit, chart of accounts maintenance, month-end and year-end closing, oversight of accounting functions, approval of journal entries and reconciliations, vendor payments, account receivables, fixed assets, payroll and human resources.

She is a graduate of Hampton High School and attended Southern Arkansas University- Tech and Southern Arkansas University – Magnolia.

Sue Albritton, Commission Administrative Assistant - Email

Sue Albritton is the Commission Administrative Assistant and Assistant to the Director and has been employed at ALETA since 1993.  She is responsible for all Commission records keeping, compiling agenda items and correspondence.  Ms. Albritton studied at the Southeastern Technical College in Georgia and Southern Arkansas University Tech.

Mandy Hill, Education and Instructional Coordinator - Email

Mandy Hill is an Educational and Instructional Coordinator for the Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training. She started working for CLEST in 2016. Mandy graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a Master of Arts in Teaching. Mandy taught High School Math for 11 years. Mandy works on various projects for CLEST including curriculum development, online course development, research, and Central ALETA facilitator.
