1. All teaching and instruction personnel at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy at Camden, Arkansas, are classified and designated law enforcement officers.
   
   
2. These personnel shall have and exercise all authority and functions of other law enforcement officers with respect to the control and protection of Law Enforcement Training Academy personnel and property both on the premises of the academy and away from the facility. They shall have general law enforcement authority to cooperate with, assist, and support local law enforcement officers in all law enforcement activities and functions.
